You have a choice. You can either take the red pill or the blue pill…
At least that’s how Laurence Fishburne proposes his choice in The Matrix.
I was looking at everyone that day in the city. This man with his red cap and scarf stood out even with the red ironwork behind him. He had sunglasses too that added an extra touch of Matrix to him.
Side note, you do know that the original Matrix movie had all it’s street names named after Chicago Streets, right?
As you can tell in this image there weren’t any clouds in the sky. It was that time of day that the sun was pushing it’s way through the east-west streets of Chicago. The shadows during this part of the evening will get shorter and more angled down the street as we approach the summer solstice in late June.
On a personal note, I’ve been so focused on photography lately that I’ve left little time for much else. I’ll be moving in a few weeks. I’ll do my best to keep the pictures coming, though.
My goal is to post three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Until next time, take care, have fun and keep trying!
